Buckle up . . .  and mask up everyone, because our winter sports (except bowling) are headed into their first week of competition and have six weeks for a regular season that normally spans 14 weeks!   There are still many questions that have yet to be answered, but we will do our best to communicate

MHSAA changes pre-participation physical exam requirement for 2020-21

In response to COVID-19, the MHSAA made some changes to the requirements for 2020-21 athletic seasons, most notably, waiving the pre-participation physical exam for students who have previously had one done.   Any student with a valid physical exam dated on or after April 15, 2019, will only need to fill out the health questionnaire that

Put a Stop to Recurring Injuries — from the MHSAA Second Half page

It is important for our student-athletes to pay attention to their health and well-being.   The loss of spring sports has only magnified the fact that you only get so many opportunities to participate in interscholastic athletics, therefore, sitting out because of an injury that may have been prevented is worth the precautions needed to avoid
