8th Grade Girls Basketball go 2-0 at Big Rapids

On Saturday, February 20th, our 8th grade girls basketball team defeated Hesperia, 52-8, and Big Rapids, 44-30. Our leading scorer against Hesperia was Hailey Kamphuis with 18 points. We are off and running!  Kent City had a successful “first” week of winter sports on many fronts.   The varsity teams posted a 15-2 record this week; our student-athletes have been upholding their end of the bargain to safely play sports during a pandemic, and our record in the class room following the 1st semester
