Kent City Athletic Weekly 10-12 — 10-17

On Saturday, the Kent City’s soccer team finished up their conference season in the 5th and 6th place game against Lakeview.   Prior to the game, patches honoring the late Alex Solorio were sewed on each sleeve.   Then after the game, each player received a water bottle from Alex’s family to help players remember that they

Scoring Woes Continue For The Eagles

In another gloomy and wet match, your Eagles Varsity Boys Soccer team traveled the short trip north to Grant on Thursday to take on the Tigers. Grant began the season this past Tuesday just like the Eagles and looked to regroup after an 8-0 loss to Fremont. The Tigers controlled much of the first 20mins

Ready or not — Here WE come! After nearly a month of waiting, we finally got word on Thursday, September 3, 2020 that our boys soccer, football, sideline cheer, and volleyball teams could move forward with their seasons . . . right now — not in the spring!  Cross country and girls golf have already

MHSAA changes pre-participation physical exam requirement for 2020-21

In response to COVID-19, the MHSAA made some changes to the requirements for 2020-21 athletic seasons, most notably, waiving the pre-participation physical exam for students who have previously had one done.   Any student with a valid physical exam dated on or after April 15, 2019, will only need to fill out the health questionnaire that
