Eagle of the Week — Ty Pyne

Ty Pyne spends a lot of time at the bowling alley — and it shows.   The junior comes from a long line of talented bowlers and is making a name for himself as the leader of Kent City’s upstart bowling team.   Pyne’s impact was felt immediately last season when he was finally able to bowl

Kent City Athletic Weekly 2-24 — 2-29

I am extremely thankful for the student-athletes at Kent City Community Schools. In addition to their dedication to their respective programs at practices and in the off-season, we are blessed with some very helpful young adults. This week was a prime example. Kent City Athletic Weekly — 2-10 — 2-15

It is Morley Stanwood week.  Sure we have a lot of great events for you in the next six days, but none bigger than Kent City vs. Morley Stanwood on the hardwood on Friday night.  Since joining the CSAA Silver in 2014-2015, the Kent City vs. Morley Stanwood match-up has developed into a very nice

Eagle of the Week — Denver Golden

Some people might call it show boating, I like to think of it as showmanship.   Sophomore Denver Golden is the unquestioned emotional leader of the varsity boys bowling team who have a chance to win their first conference championship since joining the CSAA back in 2014-2015 with two wins on Saturday.  Bowling is a mental
