Eagle of the Week — Joan Carr

When spring sports started back in March, Joan Carr was planning on playing softball for the Eagles.  As fate would have it, Carr decided to join the track and field team for the first time a few days into the season.  It did not take Carr long to make an impact  for her new team.

Kent City broke the MHSAA record for three pointers made in a single season in their game against Holton during Wednesday’s District Semi-Finals.  The Eagles eclipsed a 14 year record set by Monroe St. Mary’s Catholic Central when they hit 237 triples in 2005.   Kent City broke the record in one, possibly two less games
