Wrestling Team Opens Season with 4 Wins

   The wrestling team opened the 2019-20 season this past week with two home events.  On Wednesday, December 11, it hosted a home quad featuring Zeeland East, Montague, and Whitehall.  It came away with a 1-1 record on the night.  In the opener, it dropped a close dual to Zeeland by a score of 36-39. 

Eagles pick up first CSAA Silver victory of the season; Kent City 60 White Cloud 39

The boy’s varsity basketball team traveled to White Cloud on Friday night and came away with an easy 60-39 victory.  Although Eagles struggled a little shooting early in the contest they had things well in hand by halftime leading 35-14.  In the third quarter Kent City came out hot and extended the lead to 57-18.
