8th Grade Girls Impressive On the Road

The 8th Grade team took to the road traveling to Central Montcalm and taking on the Hornets and the Lakeview Wildcats, both games proving to be very exciting. In the first game the Lady Eagles downed the Hornets 56- 50 in a very intense game which included a 23 point first quarter.  The second game

7th Grade Girls Split a Pair of Games — Remain Undefeated in Silver Division

The 7th grade girls basketball team split a pair of games Saturday at Central Montcalm. In the first game the Lady Eagles lost to an undefeated Central Montcalm team 28-18 in a tough battle.  In the second game the Lady Eagles took out their frustration on the Wildcats of Lakeview by soundly defeating them 45-20.

Middle School Wrestlers Start the Season at Kent City

On Thursday night, Kent City hosted 6 schools in a CSAA Wrestling Tournament.  Newaygo, Grant, Hesperia, Holton, Kent City, and Lakeview met at Kent City Middle School for the first Middle School Wrestling Meet of the season.  The tournament was invidual, round robin giving each student-athlete 4-5 matches.
