Kent City will head to Calvin Christian again tonight for a rematch from the regular season against Covenant Christian. In their last game in February, Kent City traveled to Covenant Christian and defeated the Chargers 56-36. A relatively close game throughout, the Eagles pulled away in the fourth quarter thanks to four triples. Kent City is 18-0 on the season, while Covenant Christian is 11-5. The Chargers are trending upward after two consecutive losing seasons. This is not the first time Kent City and Covenant Christian met in a Regional Final, in 2015-2016, the Chargers came roaring back in the second half to capture a 31-30 win over the Eagles.
