Eagles News · Eagles Play Tough Against #4 North Muskegon, But Fall Short in 4 Sets

The varsity volleyball team played the #4 ranked North Muskegon in the district semifinal on Wednesday night in a very intense and exciting volleyball match with many great volleys by both teams.  The Lady Eagles would come out strong and win the first set 25-23.  The next three sets would go to North Muskegon, but not without the Eagles putting up a tough fight.  The scores of the final three sets were 21-25, 18-25, 18-25.

Erica Bull 7 points, 2 aces, 13 kills and 4 blocks

Jenna Harrison 35 assists and 21 digs

Kaila Krueger 9 points, 3 aces and 9 digs

Alyssa Larson 13 digs

Taryn Preston 4 points, 1 ace, 7 kills and 21 digs

Hannah VanderLugt 13 kills

Jasmine Weeks 10 points, 2 aces and 23 digs

This would complete the Eagles 2020 season with a record of 27-5-1.  Great job Lady Eagles, you should all be proud of what you have accomplished.  A big thank you to all of our parents for all of your support and cooperation this season, it was very much appreciated.

We will miss our six seniors, Erica Bull, Makenah Ellicott, Jenna Harrison, Alyssa Larson, Hannah VanderLugt and Jasmine Weeks, who have shown great leadership this season and helped lead us to a 27-5-1 overall record, 9-1 Co-Champs in the CSAA Silver and in our quest to raise money for the Side-Out Foundation.  You all stayed positive through all the conditions we were under this season.  You took total advantage of being able to play and left it all on the court each day and night.  Thank you so much for all your dedication to the volleyball program over the years and we wish you all the best of luck in your future.
