On Tuesday (9/15), the girls golf team traveled to Stonegate Golf Course. It is a course known for tight fairways, water, sand, and fast greens. Despite the challenge of the course, the team persevered and once again found itself in 4th place when the day was done. With the conference championship looming, as well as a Regional competition in Traverse City not too far down the road, the team can take comfort knowing it will not face a more challenging course. Leading the convocation of Eagles was Sophomore Madi Hudson, who shot an impressive 105. Also contributing for the team were Michelle Carr (108); Peytin Brake (114); and Olivia Hearth (126). Kierston Moorman (126) and Madi Brake (129) rounded out the team’s grand total. All in all, a mental challenge was met. Well done!
