In a recently published article sports medicine specialist, James Moeller, M.D., discusses the importance of “rest and rejuvenation” as part as your workout plans. Dr. Moeller offers five guidelines for rest days so athletes can allow their muscles time to rebuild. One of the many advantages to the workouts on PLT4M, rest days are built into each workout. In fact, in addition to workouts designed to increase strength and speed, the Master Mobility series is an excellent way for athletes to spend 20 minutes on their rest days to increase flexibility and prevent injury.
