Multiple Teams · Our Final Week is Here . . . Summer Workouts are Up Next! PLT4M Workouts — 5-30 — 6-5


We had 36 student-athletes log on to PLT4M this past week, which is three less from last week’s number.    Of those 36 who logged a workout on PLT4M last week, 22 were on multiple times.  Our perfect attendance list only had two student-athletes who made it five times: Carson Chilson and Jaren Vogel.  Keep working Kent City!  If you do not see a friend, family member, or a teammate on this list (below) — call them and encourage them to to follow the PLT4M workouts.

Stay tuned for more guidance from our coaching staff as summer workouts are rolled out in the near future.  We are hopeful that will be happening soon.   One thing will not change . . .  our dependence on PLT4M to build superior student-athletes regardless of what sports you are involved in.

We continue keeping pace with our physical education classes to cut down on any confusion — they are in week three for the remote workouts, so we will do the same.   Please log your workouts when you are finished!

Eagles’ Board of Excellence — Fitness Challenges
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, make sure you are completing and logging your results for our fitness challenges.   Jaren Vogel still holds the lead in the 1 mile run with his time of 5:40.    For the sit-up challenge, Logan McVicker is our leader with 62 sit-ups in one minute.   Lexie Bowers is right there, performing 60 sit-ups, while Zane Kik remains within striking distance at 55.

This week we are testing the 2 minute burpee challenge and the plank hold.   Lexie Bower recently took the lead in the burpee challenge, passing Jaren Vogel by performing 45 burpees in two minutes.  Logan McVicker is our leader in the plank hold with a time of 5:00, while Jenna Harrison is closing in with a 4:01 in her latest effort.  Make sure you log your results on PLT4M!
