Multiple Teams · Athletes Stay in Shape During Time Off School — Kent City Highlighted by the School News Network

Although we could have never imagined our current situation, the Eagles were prepared.  Despite the cancellation of the winter post season and the loss of our spring season, Kent City’s student-athletes have transitioned into their “new way of life” . . . for now, with very few set-backs.   The reason, our partnership with PLT4M, an online training system designed with the high school athlete in mind.   Kent City is in their third year using the program and are really starting to see the gains by student-athletes on all teams.   We initially found out about the program from Coach Carlson and the girls basketball team, who had been using it for a year or two for their players.   We really liked what we saw from the program and the adaptability to our specific needs.   That is when Kent City Sports Boosters stepped up and agreed to purchase the yearly subscription so all of our student-athletes could have coaching from the experts, only a video away.

The coaches (and anyone for that matter) could see the results in only a few months time from those student-athletes who followed the program.   Janice Holst from the School News Network caught wind of our daily spotlight on our student-athletes and their “stay-at-home workouts” and gave us a call.   Today, her article detailing PLT4M and how it has helped our student-athletes during this global pandemic, both physically and mentally was published.  To read the article, use the following link:

As always — a huge THANK YOU goes out to the Kent City Sports Boosters who consistently arms our student-athletes with the luxuries we enjoy in our athletic program.  This is certainly one of those game changers!
