Multiple Teams · 18 from 2018: All-State Student Athletes

The days are numbered for 2018, but before it goes for good we wanted to take a moment to look back on what was a great year for the Eagles.  Our student writers sat down before the break to narrow down the top 18 events from 18.  Then each student writer chose six events to revisit before we leave 2018 in the rear view.  Over the final six days of 2018, we will highlight three events (one from each student-writer) that made 2018 a year that will not soon be forgotten.  These are in no particular order and we had to leave some very worthy events off the list to stick with the 18 theme.

Kent City has a reputation for having some amazing athletes! In fact, we have more than a few, we had 17 student-athletes earn all-state!  Of the 17, 12 of the student-athletes earned all-state for the first time in their sport (marked with an asterisk).  Here is a list of all of our All-State Athletes for the 2018 year:
