It was another hard-fought battle against a bigger school last night where the score, a 70-36 loss, did not indicate how close the game really was. The Eagles had to play a full 94 feet Monday night as Coopersville was constantly applying the pressure. That did not phase the boys as they constantly broke the press and were strong with the ball drawing 15 fouls against the aggressive Broncos.
The Eagles continued to improve on the offensive end and are getting accustomed to the speed of junior varsity basketball. Nine Eagles scored in the contest, and the team was led by sophomores Casen Armstrong with eight points and Lane Dailey with seven. The team is looking to bounce back this Thursday, December 6th, with the next game on the road at White Cloud. Tip off is schedule for 7:00 p.m.
