It was a good first week for summer workouts, but we certainly can do better. All of our coaches will be working on getting their student-athletes on PLT4M and into the weight room this summer. In fact, we have extended the challenge to all or our teams, boys and girls to also capture they student-athletes at summer workouts powered by PLT4M so we can literally see the progress as we march on towards excellence.
The pictures below are from our weight room sessions scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. If you think these weight room sessions are for football players only, you could not be further from the truth. In our first week, we had coaches from boys basketball, golf, wrestling, girls basketball, track and field, and football helping out in the weight room. Not to mention that PLT4M was designed with the multi-sport, high school student-athlete in mind.
We are also pleased to be offering workouts at the Kent City Pool for athletes on Monday and Wednesday nights from 8:00 p.m. — 8:45 p.m. Workouts will be a combination of cardio and strength development. We will finish each workout with a game. These workouts are free for Kent City student-athletes.
