On Friday, February 23, Kent City will travel to Hesperia to take on the Panthers in their final CSAA Silver games of the season.   At that game, Hesperia is working to raise money for Connor VanBuskirk, a 15 year old sophomore who is battling stage four Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.   VanBuskirk is a member of the Panther football team, playing on the varsity since his freshmen year.   He is currently undergoing treatments at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.   To view the stories about Connor in the local news, use the following links:

At the Kent City vs. Hesperia game on Friday, February 23, both teams will be wearing something special in support of Connor VanBuskirk.   Hesperia is also conducting a t-shirt sale to raise money for Connor and his family  among other fundraising efforts.   We have included a link for you to purchase a t-shirt — all orders can be turned into the Kent City High School Office and are due by Friday, February 16.  Orders will be delivered on Thursday, February 15 at the junior varsity basketball games at Kent City.
