Girls Varsity Basketball · Varsity girls lose at Muskegon, 92-50

Kent City kept it close in the first quarter trailing 24-18 after the first eight minutes, but Muskegon used their speed to outscore the Eagles 31-8 in the second quarter to cruise to the 92-50 victory over the visitors.  Unofficially, Kent City had eight players score, with Kenzie Bowers, 21, and Zara Weber, 12, the two that reached double figures.

With the defeat, Kent City is now 8-3 overall while remaining 4-0 in the CSAA.  The Eagles play their next game on Friday night against Hesperia in The Nest at Kent City. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
