Kent City traveled to Muskegon last night one of the most exciting games of the season. The JV girls fought hard against the Big Red’s pressure and headed into half-time up 6 with a score of 20 to 14. Muskegon came out of the locker room ready to compete and turned up the pressure even more. The Big Red’s had the score within 1 by the third quarter. Kent City was in double bonus at the end of the game, and would score the rest of their points from the line. Kent City was down 3 and had the ball for the last possession of the game. The shot did not fall and the Eagles lost the game with a final score of 32 to 35.
Leading scorer on the night was Kaylyn Wilson with 13. Emily Bull added in 6 points for the team and Hannah Vanderlugt had 5.
