Eagles News · JV Girls Basketball Team Loses by 3 to Muskegon

Kent City traveled to Muskegon last night one of the most exciting games of the season. The JV girls fought hard against the Big Red’s pressure and headed into half-time up 6 with a score of 20 to 14. Muskegon came out of the locker room ready to compete and turned up the pressure even more. The Big Red’s had the score within 1 by the third quarter. Kent City was in double bonus at the end of the game, and would score the rest of their points from the line. Kent City was down 3 and had the ball for the last possession of the game. The shot did not fall and the Eagles lost the game with a final score of 32 to 35.

Leading scorer on the night was Kaylyn Wilson with 13. Emily Bull added in 6 points for the team and Hannah Vanderlugt had 5.
