The junior varsity football team crushed Hesperia Thursday night 44-6, improving their record to 3-3 on the season and 3-1 against CSAA Silver teams. The Eagles scored early and often to open up a 30-0 lead at halftime. The offense and defense both played solid the whole evening, and the only score for Hesperia was late in the game on a kickoff. All JV players got a chance to play and show how they have improved from the start of the season.
Scoring for the Eagles were Dolan Bair with 3 touchdowns, Max Hudson with 2 and Lane Dailey with 1. The team also converted 4 of 6 attempts on two point conversions during the game to win by a final score 44-6. Kent City has improved immensely since the opening game, which is the focus of junior varsity sports. The Eagles play home this week against Vermontville Maple Valley on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Thank you to all the fans and parents who support our efforts every week. Great team win!
