Busy week for the JV Volleyball team

The JV volleyball team has had a busy start to the week, hosting Kelloggsville, Calvin Christian and Godwin Heights Monday night in a quad and Lakeview Tuesday night for a league dual. Monday night the Eagles started off the night with a win against Kelloggsville 25-14 and 25-13. The next game against Godwin the team lost the first set 20-25 but then won a close second match 26-24 to push to a third but lost the third 7-15. In the final game of the night they took in Calvin and lost 15-25 and 18-25.

Tuesday night in our annual pink out game the ladies played a strong match against Lakeview and won all three with scores of 25-18, 25-20 and 15-2. Two outstanding servers on the night Jenna Harrison had 12 points and 3 aces and Nicole McCullough had 7 points and 2 aces. Harrison also added 10 assists on the night. Morgan DeVoogd paced the defense with 6 digs. Offensively Emily Bull had 5 kills and 2 blocks followed by Madalyn Ellicott with 4 kills. The Eagles have one more game left this week as they travel to Muskegon Catholic on Thursday for a Tri match.
